I don’t think I’ll be doing this again. So much happens on Facebook that I thought I’d put a few clips on my blog just to show that nothing on the blog doesn’t mean nothing is happening. But I gathered much more than I intended to and then tried to trim it so it all makes sense. Some things I wanted to include aren’t here and others I didn’t intend to share are here. But you get the idea.

Retraced family history today: Lunch at Danbury’s famous JK’s, then a drive through Bethel Center seeing the haunts of old, next to Vining Road to admire the 22 houses built by my brothers, onward to Day’s Inn which started out as Glenview Motel atop Stony Hill, also built by Dad and brothers. A sure cure for cabin fever, thanks to brother Bob..

The folks on the left like to say that Netanyahu claims the sky is falling, as if he is crying wolf when there is no wolf! Let’s be real. Israel is a tiny country, the size of New Jersey, surrounded by big countries that harbor jihadists of various stripes who say they want to wipe Israel off the face of the map as well as big Satan (that’s us.) I think we do well to believe what they say. They have made an impressive start!

A lesson learned the hard way:

When the winter winds are blowing snell and keen and the temperature dips to zero and below, keep a wee drip going to prevent pipes freezing.
Just today, after 23 days of no city water, I am rejoicing in the spring thaw that let me return home!

Mom getting plaster molds of her feet so she can get custom orthopedic shoes made. At 91 and decades of walking on fallen arches she may finally walk with out pain but then again since shes been dealing with and adjusted to it for so long she may just walk in circles or fall down, we shall see, hopefully she’ll have happy feet.

It makes me happy when someone does something nice for one of my children. I think it makes God happy, too, when you do something nice for one of His children.
Well over 200,000 people went to Washington DC last week to protest the killing of innocent babies in the womb. How many would it take to get media coverage? Could there be a more dramatic demonstration of media bias? ABC and NBC gave 0 coverage.
If these were a few dozen hipsters protesting corporate profits while taking selfies
with iPhones, the networks would have wall-to-wall coverage.

Just lying around, singing the songs I learned in grade school 80 years ago.

My handicaps are obvious, not life-threatening, and everyone is kind and solicitous. Some people cope with invisible wounds that we know nothing of. Let’s give them the benefit of the doubt…..gentle does it!
Just saw the new year in with a humdinger of a black eye after interaction with a door jamb. Thank God I have no pain and seem reasonably lucid. Welcome 2015!
